dd3 is trying to grab the older dd's ice lollies. she just seems too young IMO to have one lol.

yes I would

but then I'm not a very good mother Grin

jmum6 · 24/03/2006 17:30

Yes as a treat!

colditz · 24/03/2006 17:31

Personally, yes I would. Probably shouldn't, but I still would.

misdee · 24/03/2006 17:32

do you think the cold would shock her too much?

OP posts:
LadyTophamHatt · 24/03/2006 17:32

yes.

ds3 had his first taste of ice cream at 7-8 months when he stole it out of my hands...at a MN meet up!!!

MadameDeMars · 24/03/2006 17:33

I did with the DTs. Fab but messy!

GeorginaA · 24/03/2006 17:34

Yes I would.

Ds1 hated icecream of any description until very recently (he's almost 5). Ds2 (2 in May) adores icecream and we quite often have some good ish quality vanilla in the freezer for treat quick desserts.

Hulababy · 24/03/2006 17:34

Yes, at a year old DD was eating pretty much normal food, with the odd treat allowed.

alexsmum · 24/03/2006 17:35

i would tooBlush

GeorginaA · 24/03/2006 17:35

(and Twiglett - you bloody are... false modesty is very unbecoming, m'dear Wink)

porteusedeclavecin · 24/03/2006 17:35

yes
what twiglett said Grin

HandbagAddiction · 24/03/2006 17:37

DD was having strwaberry and chocolate ice-cream at 9 months - we were on holiday in Spain and everyone else was having some...so it seemed mean not to give her a taste of it too!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 24/03/2006 17:38

YES!

Jess loved them last summer when she had just turned 1. Bit cold but their faces are a picture!

poppiesinaline · 24/03/2006 17:57

Blush did yesterday actually for the first time..... he LOVED it!! Grin

TinyGang · 24/03/2006 18:01

Yes! They're just the right size tooSmileProbably don't tend to think about ice cream this time of the year though. And yes, I'd do choc buttons too.

peaches27 · 24/03/2006 22:52

Yes of course I would.

But I also used to buy those ice pop bags and make orange or apple juice ice pops for our kids when they were small.

helsi · 24/03/2006 23:00

yes I would - in fact I think I did but then again in MN eyes I am a bad mummy - bottle feeder, disposable user, jar user etc....

Eve2005 · 24/03/2006 23:03

yes, as a treat. they love ices at that age and more goes on the ground than in their mouths!

BadHair · 24/03/2006 23:12

Yes. Neither ds them had them regularly, they've probably only had 6 between them in their entire lifetimes, but didn't see anything wrong with them. They're much more manageable than ice cream at that age.

sazhig · 25/03/2006 00:29

Does anyone have a pack? - what ingredients does it have? - the walls website doesnt have any details.

WideWebWitch · 25/03/2006 07:26

I prob would too, they're not too bad iirc. My most food fascist friend lets her ds have one at the zoo etc.

Pernod · 25/03/2006 20:38

Yes, defo would xx

tegan · 25/03/2006 21:03

Of course.
I remember dd2 having them at 4 months old and loving them.

gigglinggoblin · 25/03/2006 21:05

DONT GIVE THE CHOCOLATE ONES!

they stain clothes really badly. other than that, yes. ds3 loves them

cutekids · 25/03/2006 21:06

Yes, my kids loved them at that age. Is it really such a crime then?!
