Sunflower seed bread: suitable for 7month old?

The only bread I buy is that Allinsons sunflower seed wholemeal bread. Yesterday I gave a tiny toasted square with butter to my 29wk old ds and he appeared to like it (gave it an enthusiastic sucking at any rate, non swallowed). I'd like to start offering him more bread, perhaps fingers of toast with cheese, but should I switch us all to plain brown bread to start off with do you think?

What I'd be worried about is if it has whole seeds in (choking risk).

yes, that was my worry, although i'd wondered if the seeds would pose a choking risk as they're pretty small, but you're right it's best to avoid the risk.
