I wouldn't, more because I don't like sweetened cereal or want DS to have it before he starts demanding it due to peer pressure

Yeah, I think the same as Duane, I'm holding off as long as possible on the sugary cereals. But wouldn't be bothered by the nut content. Mine have had peanut butter from 6 months though and no family history of allergies.

Thanks! It's not my breakfast of choice for him but he tends to share some of whatever daddy is having and has his proper breakfast at childcare!

nut products ok from 6 months and honey ok from 1 year so they would be fine if that is what you chose to give him.

It's only whole nuts that you need to avoid at that age because of the choking risk (assuming no allergies of course)
