My 2yo had some of these today and seemed to like them. However, I spotted the ingredients contain oat bran - 11% I think? I know young children aren't supposed to have bran, so should he not have these?

Hopefully someone will be along soon......

No idea, annabel karmel weaning books have bran muffin recipes in though... So I doubt it's a problem ( never heard of the no bran thing)

Thanks, that fits with what I've read elsewhere. I won't start giving him All Bran twice a day or anything, but it sounds like having these from time to time won't do him any harm.

I think all too much fibre does is cause constipation. Son like you say as long as they aren't having it for breakfast/ lunch and dinner it's fine. Everyone needs some fibre in their diet anyway. Actually I think The pediatrician once said oatibix were better than weetabix as we prob eat too much wheat as a nation on the whole..

I have the same query with certain types bread.
I think everything in moderation is ok.
It's a tiny amount. Perhaps ring Hv.
