Can you give normal pasta to a 7mth old?

So, I made myself and DH a salmon pasta dish last night. There are some leftovers and I was wondering if I could mash it up and give it to my 7mth old DS?

The meal contains pasta, salmon, various veg (peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, green beans..etc) and only has natural yoghurt as the sauce.
I was thinking it would be ok, but wasn't sure about the pasta?

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

It'll be fine. After 6 months the only things they can't have is honey and whole nuts

Yes, go for it. Baby pasta is just pasta that's little. Nothing else to it.

Absolutely fine. Wheat isn't recommended before six months but like CMOTD says, its just nuts and honey you need to avoid now.

Thanks guys! I will get on with mashing it up!

Thanks guys! I will get on with mashing it up! very dedicated Doodler. I used to just stick it on DDs tray and let her feed herself Grin.

its fine i never even mashed it up! just used penne and fuisilli pasta that was any easy shape for them to pick up and feed themselves!
