How many 'cubes' do you give your lo's?

DS is 27 weeks and has been weaning for 3 weeks. He has breakfast (usually a mashed up banana) and lunch of thickly pureed veg. At the mo I'm giving him 2 'cubes' of puree for lunch but I'm wondering if I should give him more? ( I think he'd take it if I offered it) He's still taking 8 oz bottle of formula at lunch too. Is it true that babies now only need 20oz of formula a day - as he's taking more like 4 x 7 or 8 oz and a 4oz dream feed. Should I give more food and less milk now?

That's the cup I've already bought for him. So, did you mean just water for the cup?

Cod - you are fab - so quick on the draw! With the finger foods - should I still give him the extra 'cubes' - should I see the finger food as practice for him rather than 'food'?
