I have a 9 month old and have gotten stuck in a bread / toast rut for breakfast / lunch .

Any other ideas ?

breakfast: fresh fruit, porridge, weetabix, Greek yogurt.
Lunch: fishcakes, hummus with veg fingers, chickpea patties, vegetable nuggets, omlette, lentil and cheese wedges.
DD is 8 months and these are some of the things we've had so far. Check out the BLW website recipe section, loads of great finger food ideas there. I have the BLW cookbook and haven't tried everything out of it yet but some good ideas in there too

Mine seemed to like Ready Brek with fruit in, berries, banana, raisins, that sort of thing. How about eggy bread or egg and soliders.

There are some good recipes on MN too Smile.

Mini Shredded Wheat were good when DD was little (she still loves them at 2.5y)
