which will be ds in less than 3 weeks! So what changes? I feel I should be doing something........ He's an ok eater, goes through some periods of not eating anything or only certain things, and other times he eats loads, so I would imagine he's fairly normal. Do you have to push food more once they are 1? He's still bf and probably has 3-4 feeds a day and maybe 1-2 overnight. Should I be trying to cut these down?

I have a nearly 3 year old and he doesnt eat all the time.

I have a one year old brother who was breast fed til recently and he ate loads while breast feeding too.

Just stick to what you are doing. He will eat more when he's hungry

I wouldn't cut down on bfing, unless you want too that is. The recommendation is that once they are one you can start bfing them after solids, not before.

Apart from that I wouldn't worry Smile.

Nothing changed for us really but DD had dropped several milk feeds. She has morning and evening, and sometimes a mid afternoon milk. I suppose I have introduced snacks recently - fruit in the morning and a savoury biscuit in the afternoon, but that is following on from what she has at nursery.
