How much milk after 12 months?

So I know that milk should provide the majortiy of a baby's nutrition until they are 1, but what then? DS is turning 1 in a week or so, up to now he has been ebf & blw. He's also starting nursery next week, so won't be bf during the day. I am intending on expressing while at work, at least to begin with, partly for my own comfort (and as a excuse for a bit of a break during work Wink) and also so DS can have the ebm at nursery. I will probably be able to express 2x 4oz a day. Is this enough, or too much? At the moment he has maybe 6 bf a day, and usually 1 or 2 at night.

He'll be having 3 meals a day, breakfast & dinner at home and lunch at nursery. He'll also be given 2 snacks & a drink of cows milk at nursery.

Once back at work, I will bf him first thing in the morning, then once we get home, and at bedtime. What I don't want to happen is for him to start waking more at night. The 2 wakings we have now I am just about coping with, and that's without going to work (I know some have it worse, I am completely rubbish when I'm tired though)

they should have 12oz a day but some of that can be made up with cheese yog etc.

so a morning and evening bfeed, and any in the night will be fine with food during the day, nay you can express that he can drink during the day is a bonus and may help with the night waking but probably wont! :)

Thanks 5madthings. Sounds like he'll have plenty then.
