Currently doing a mixture of BL and mush feeding, But running out of ideas of finger foods for lunch times.
DD usually has ready break and fruit mush, plus half a slice of toast and 6oz of milk for breakfast.
She then has a gnaw on some fresh fruit or veg at 10ish.
At 12 she then has half a sandwich and fresh fruit/veg followed by a yoghurt pot.
7oz bottle @2:30 and then a mush pot at 5 and 7oz of milk at bedtime. The mush pot I'm good at varying food/flavours, just running out of ideas for the fresh finger foods, so any help would be good.

Just as an aside for others who read this you are not doing baby led if you do any spoon feeding, it is simply trad weaning with finger foods. As to ideas, what do you put in sandwiches? Hummus is good dipped with a pitta or slices of veggies. Baked potato with various toppings. Pasta with various sauces. Couscous with mushed avocado to thicken it so it can be preloaded on spoons or picked up by hand. Thick home made soups with toast or bread crusts dunked in. Various things on toast: cheese, banana, sardines in oil, fish paste, tomatoes mashed or sliced, low salt low sugar baked beans. Use various types of other breads: rye, fruit, low salt croissants, crumpets, oat cakes, rice cakes. There are lots of ideas in the baby led weaning cookbook for things you can cook up that are safe for baby and you to share.

Eggs are good, as omelette/frittata, eggy bread, scrambled or hard boiled. Or how about potato wedges with beans and cheese, fish fingers, or toasties. An easy thing to do is save a bit of your dinner and feed as lunch the next day :)
