Just to check that we're doing ok as I spend a lot of time worrying about portion sizes and types of food. Today was a typical day:
Breastfeed
Breakfast: infant bowl of readybrek an a handful of Cheerios
Snack: goodies flapjack
Lunch: bowl of roast chicken, one boiled potato, carrots and cabbage, followed by a yogurt
Tea: mushroom and cheese omelette with a slice of toast, followed by a banana, strawberries and blueberries
Breastfeed before bed.

Does this sound enough/the right variety of things for him? I often do snacky lunches of sandwiches as well, so he doesn't always get two cooked meals.

Missed the afternoon snack which today was crackers and cream cheese.

As long as you're not alway trying to get baby to have 'one more mouthful' or refusing food when 'asked' for it I'm sure you're doing just fine. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along in a moment to suggest any missed food groups etc but children generally know how much they need, sounds like normal to me!
