Can babies have smoked salmon ( how posh!)

Can I offer smoked salmon to my 7 mo for tea? Having salady stuff as its so hot!!! I could cook it up for a few seconds. I guess it's quite salty but he is allergic to dairy and egg so been trying different nutritious foods for him. He doesn't have cheese or any salt in anything else except bread. I know they're aloud 1 g salt mac aren't they? Thanks

I gave it to dc4 but was very flaky after the first three. I did dry fry it though. He loves it.

It's very salty...

Yes this is dc 3 and i'm also bit more flakey this time around! Bit of a pita being dairy and egg free, as have another dc who is strictly no gluten and another who is freakishly finicky so been pondering lots of different foods in the fridge! Use dairy and eggs a lot I realise...

No reason why it wouldn't be fine. Yes it's quite salty, but not that much more than bread, he'd still need to eat a lot more than he's likely to as a 7mo old to get close to his limits.

My DD loves smoked salmon and has had it fairly often since just over 6 months, it was one of her first weaning foods and she loved it.

Not posh though as we get the 'smart price' or value version for sandwiches, pasta etc.
