Blackpudding?

Random question: can an 11 month old have blackpudding? We do BLW and she has everything else we have (apart from honey) so assuming this is ok?

I can't stand the stuff but brought for DP who loves it so just checking I can offer it to DD?

No reason why not.

The black pudding we get is very salty, not saying your LO shouldn't eat it, but perhaps check other food eaten that day is not salty. My DD tried black pudding before she was 1, from her dad's plate when we were at a hotel at breakfast. She ate the whole chunk with much relish.

She tried it, ate it but chucked it on the floor and demolished the traditional stokey oatcakes when she saw them! it certainly wasn't disliked Grin

Salt content is always a concern to me but she hasn't eaten too well this week due to teething (just been bf'ing more) so not too concerned on salt intake this week.

Thank you
