Weaning and poo

We started BLW with out LO about 2 weeks ago, he is 26 weeks old. He doesn't seem to be swallowing anything tho small bits have started making it through. However, he is now pooing about 4/5 times a day and he used to be a once a day kind of kid. He doesn't seem unwell and the poos range from Green to orange with a variety of textures! (nice!) he's ebf as well. Is this normal/ok?

Sounds fine.

Well, he is obviously eating more than you think Smile

that's right, the poo does change.

there are always lots of random green bits in DD's poo now. Confused

We started weaning about two weeks ago also but doing purees. Since then DS has gone from one a day "thick and paste like" to 5/6 quiet liquid nappies including 3in the night last night Confused sound similar?

I stopped solids for a few days and nappies decreased. Saw Dr yesterday she says it's fine as long as drinking milk, weeing and fine in themselves weaning can affect the gut in many ways Grin

Sounds very familiar :)
I asked the HV today and she too said it was normal. He's put a pound on in the last month so must be ok!
These babies hey!
