basically my schedule is all over the place with my 8month old.

sleeps and eats at different times and has milk at different times. I can't seem to get a pattern that works and was just wondering what the rest of you did...

eating food is very hit or miss still. is yours?

I just feed DS when DD (2.6) is having her meals (unless he wakes up v early, say 5, and can't make it to her breakfast time without a nap). So his "routine" works around that. Food def hit and miss. He's good at chewing and swallowing when he fancies something, won't eat much off a spoon, loves anything sweet.

So (on a perfect day ... I stress perfect)

6.30 - wakes followed by milk
7.30 - breakfast (one /two of these - fruit pouch, toast or rice cake with peanut butter or philadelphia, sugar-free yoghurt)
8 - nap for an hour or so
9.30 bottle
A doze of 5/10 mins in the buggy while out and about to keep him going
12.15 - lunch (bit of pasta or toast, bit of cheddar cheese, broccoli or peas, mushed up version of whatever sauce DD is having on pasta)
1 - bottle and sleep until 3 if lucky
4 - little bottle / maybe a 5/10 min doze in the buggy if he had a shorter sleep at lunch (this was the first bottle to become a snack with DD)

5.15 - tea (same as lunch)
6.30 - bottle and bed
11ish - bottle, maybe a tiny one at 4am if he wakes then

Ooof that's a lot of milk. I need to cut down his milk a bit I think. It is easier weirdly fitting him in round a toddler. Good luck!

Mine does this most days:

6.30/7 wake and 5oz bottle
8ish breakfast of porridge/weetabix or fruit and yogurt
9.30 nap for an hour (crossed fingers!!)
12 lunch, normally finger food, so a sandwich or rice cakes cheese, fruit etc
1ish nap (hopefully 1.5 hours)
5oz bottle when he wakes
5.30 purée dinner + fruit or rice pudding or similar
6.30 bath and 7 oz bottle
7ish bed
10.30/11 7oz dreamfeed

Hope this helps. Eating still hit and miss here too..... Some days he refuses so I try not to panic (normally unsuccessfully!) and just assume he's not hungry. He normally makes up for it by eating loads at his next meal!! I do offer the odd snack too if he seems a bit grizzly.

We had no routine with DD, well a vague one of course as we tended to eat various meals within reasonably small areas of time (breakfast in the morning etc.) we didn't worry about anything and DD eats great.

ok mine is somewhat similar. but it just varies so much on the milk front.

she is waking at 5am for milk
7.30 for breakfast
then sometimes milk at 10.30/11 or sometimes lunch (food) at 12
then milk or lunch at 3 depending on what happened midday
then food at 5 or 6 or just milk
then milk at 7.30 bed at 8pm

then she wakes at once sometimes 1am, sometimes 2 or 3

then up again at 5/6am wanting milk again!

hmmm...maybe I should try the dream feed?

I also have a toddler and fell I am ignoring the baby all the time to deal with the older one... I just can't seem to fit the baby in to our busy day
