Dear Aunty Mumsnet,

I'll post this in allergies too, but I'm putting it everywhere because I really need the help!

My 1 year old ds is currently milk, egg, soya, nut, seed, salmon and chicken free and now it looks like we need to go wheat free too. We have had to go the blw route as he hates spoons. I have absolutely no idea what to give him to eat that he can pick up himself, at the moment he seems to eat wheat based foods for almost every meal. Its wheat or potatoes.

I desperately need any recipes or ideas that that the lovely Aunty Mumsnet can think of. Pleeeeaaassee!

Yours sincerely,

NeedMenInWhiteCoats

Gosh that must be very tricky for you Need. I'm assuming that LO is under a Paed, are you seeing a dietician too?

What milk does LO have and what have they suggested for cooking with?

So far, all I can think of is Roast Dinner or Fish Fingers Blush

Avocados and bananas great first food.

How old is he? My 14 month old uses a spoon pretty well now. So fish/ veg/ rice/ potatoes etc..

Gluten free annabel karmel baby pasta with homemade veggie/ tomato sauce. Add whatever you like. Give spoon but can use hands if still practicing

Mini meatballs using gluten free breadcrumbs , tuna fish cakes using the formula in the potato , steamed veg gluten free pasta, maybe homemade bread using free from flour available in healthfood stores and some supermarkets ?
