Now, I was prepared for the fact that some small pieces of food would turn up as ds (6 months) learnt to chew and swallow etc, but a piece of carrot turned up this afternoon that was literally the length of my fingernail and still in its original 'carrot stick' shape. Poor boy, no wonder he went red in the face trying to squeeze that one out! Don't think I would like to push out a solid lump of equivalent size! 
No real substance to this post...just an observation!
