my baby has been sicky from the beginning. exclusively breastfed and always vomiting. now we have started weaning and she is still vomiting...now its more disgusting as solids are in there.

when do they grow out of this? am I feeding her too much?

when do they grow out of this? Don't know the answer to this one sorry cheap. Have you tried posting on the reflux support thread in the breast & bottle section?

am I feeding her too much? we may be able to help you with this if you give us a little more information. How old is your DD and what does she have in a typical day? Smile.

6am breastfeed
8am porridge or porridge with mushed fruit
some days she screams for breast at 10.30/11 and somedays she has snack instead at 11.30 which is rice cakes and ells pouch or fruit or cucumber
3pm has big meal, lentils, pasta, mash with fish
but sometimes get frustrated and then wants breast again
6pm breastfeed
8pm breastfeed

we usually manage two meals a day, sometimes three, it varies so much. even her times vary so much as she goes to bed and wakes up at different times everyday and wakes in the middle of the night, sometimes feeds at midnight, sometimes 3am, sometimes settles with just a cuddle.

the only thing consistent is that she vomits food, and breast milk and I think its getting worse not better.

95% outgrow it by age 1. Btw, it's posset, not vomit. Vomit contains stomach acid, whereas posset doesn't.

Sorry cheap, haven't got any real experience of reflux. Is Dd under a Paed, what have they said?
