Does this sound right for a 6 month old?

Weaning is going well for us - possibly a little too well in that my 6 month old will eat anything and I'm sure would keep eating if he could (which should make me feel good as its all home made, so at least someone in the house likes my cooking!). I'm sure he can't self regulate so I could really do with some advice as to how much food and milk he should be getting. Currently a typical day goes like this:

7am 7oz milk
8am breakfast of porridge plus fruit
10am nap
11.30 ish Lunch of 2oz or so of fish pie/lamb hotpot/braised beef etc, plus one cube of extra veg
12 noon 6oz milk
2.30 nap
4pm 6oz milk
6.30pm dinner of one of the sort of choices above not had at lunch
7.30pm 7oz milk

He's about 20lbs but very active during his awake time in jumperoo, rolling, kicking games etc, but I just want to make sure he's not eating too well if you know what I mean...

Thanks ;)

I'd let him set the pace. My DS was a complete human dustbin at 6/7 months and would eat everything and anything in vast quantities. He then had a massive growth spurt and now at 8 months eats about half of what he used to. It feels a bit like a step back but I'm trying just to trust that he'll eat if he needs it. I'm sure your DS does have an off switch somewhere and when he's full and doesn't need the extra food for development/growing he'll use it!! Grin

My 6mo is about the same as yours op in food intake and weight. She also has started waking twice in the night and takes 4oz each time.
