I'm not sure if baby is taking enough solids, she has about 6 baby spoonfuls at breakfast but lunch and dinner can be as little as 1-3 spoonfuls...should she be eating more thn this??

I wonder about this. I mainly do BLW so have no idea about how much dd2 consumes, but when I do spoon feed her she never eats much - those ella kitchen pouches would do her a whole day!

I'm doing both TW and BLW so for breakfast she'll have baby porridge with some kid f fresh fruit mashed in and will have about 6 spoonfuls of this and a finger of cheese on toast.....but by lunch and dinner she seems to have much less and I worry she should be eating a lot more.

How old are your babies out of interest?

Ds (9 months) eats loads at breakfast - half a brioche, piece of fruit, large bowl of ready brek (probably 15+ weaning spoons worth, I must count!) But lunch and dinner can be very hit and miss - he is blw so couldn't say for sure anyway, but I think he often hardly eats anything.

Hello again Alabama! i have 7 mo twins

For breakfast I give baby porridge or weetabix with fruit puree, I don't count the spoons they eat but I prepare 2 icecubes of fruit, about 2 tablespoons of dry porridge or 2 weetabix, 2oz of breastmilk and a dash of boiling water to warm it up a bit. They usually finish this.

For lunch I give a protein meal. Today they had pork, courgette, tomato sauce and rice. I prepared 1/2 a pork steak, a portion of tomato sauce, a portion of steamed courgette and a portion of rice, and they shared this. (my portion pots are 1oz each). Then they shared a small yoghurt with some pear puree.

For tea they had scrambled egg with mushroom - one egg, one mushroom, milk and butter again shared betweem them
