How to get her eating again?

DD has just turned one but for the last 3 weeks or so she's just showing no interest in her solid food anymore. She used to eat with no problem at all and we'd do a mix of spoon feeding and her picking up whatever she wanted and feeding herself. Now, nothing is interesting her except banana and yoghurt!

I can put finger food infront of her and she plays with it of I try spoon feeding her she may have 4 spoonfuls then spits out anything else. She's still taking her milk without trouble but surely she can't be getting enough essential vitamins and minerals when she's not getting a varied healthy diet? Am really starting to worry.

Could you tell us which milk she has and how much as it may have an effect? Smile.

We had this with ds1 when he was about 10 months old. He had a period where he'd only eat yoghurt. I ended up mixing a variety of fruit and/or vegetable purees into it to get some more nutrients into him. I can't remember how long it went on for, except it felt really long (I think it was probably about 3-4 weeks). I don't know what caused it but it did end. The hv said as long as he was still taking his milk as normal, not to worry about it.
