I'm obviously not adding salt to anything and I'm using baby stock cubes in family meals so that I don't "un" wean the rest of my family.

Just want to check what the actual max daily intake of salt for a 6-12 month old is so I can keep an eye on the bread, cheese, beans etc combos in a day. I mean most of the above ends up on my floor but one day..........Hmm

It's 1g! Hardly anything - that's 2 slices of bread! I find I get really stressed about the amount of salt ds might be eating as it can add up so quickly - a bit of cheese here, a crumpet there.....

I used a baby stock cube for the first time the other night to make a risotto! Yuck! I added soooo much salt to my plate :-)

Thanks. Hardly any food gets in at moment so we're still a bit off two slices of bread!! I had 1g in my head but thought I'd better check at this stage before we carried on adding up bits of cheese etc and then discovered it's max 0.5 or similar. Obviously going to try to stay WAY below max but such things inform my lunch time options so i need to be sure!! Really must get around to making some salt free bread in breadmaker!!Hmm
