Do you mean normal white rice? If you do then ideally you would use it as soon as it is cooked. If you are saving for later, cool quickly and put in the fridge. The problems with rice are caused by leaving it at room temperature too long which causes the problem bacteria to multiply. Use refridgerated rice within 24 hours - heat it to piping hot before use
