I have been really looking forward to introducing dd to new foods. It's only been a few days but she, and I, are enjoying the experience so far.

But I also feel a little sad. Perhaps because it is all happening so fast?

Anyone else felt similar or am I totally pfb about it?

I totally know what you mean, it kind of feels like the end of babydom, doesn't it?

I felt super sad when he started dropping his milk feeds, to just one bottle in the morning, an afternoon cup and a night bottle. We did BLW and he picked it up rea qllyuickly, I was expecting him to be just nibbling things for months, but he was far too good at it for my liking.

I wish I could go back and tell myself to enjoy those milky days. :)

Exactly! I will try to remind myself of that when she is taking an age over a feed!

I can't believe how fast time has gone.

I really didn't enjoy the early baby phase so I love everything which feels like progress away from it, including weaning.

I didn't want to start weaning. I loved the ebf stage. Lovely fragrant poos, no mess...
