Does anyone know of a good alternative to petit filous? My DD loves them but Im not comfortable with the amount of sugar in them.

Thanks Thanks

Plum baby has low sugar and tastes nice - even fussy dd likes them

Yep Plum baby or Yeo Valley kids ones. Both organic and no added sugar. Rachel's do some too but they are runny like yoghurts. Verve tried them all Wink

My twins love Rachel's yogurts, they are bigger than petit filous but perfect to share between two!

That's great thanks. Off to Asda in a bit so will give them a try!

Both mine love/d plain natural yoghurt as babies. In fact ds2 7mths will eat nothing but. Going through crates of the stuff.....

Big pot of natural yogurt here too. And cheaper. Just add fruit or squeezy puree. (we have soya and its lovely)

Gigondas · 02/06/2012 10:42

Yoghurt is different to fromage frais- personally I can't stand it in any form as just smell makes me gag and dd similar but obviously other kids love it.

Greek yoghurt is thick like fromage frais.

You can also just get plain fromage frais and add fruit puree to it.

Thanks everyone :)

Ellas kitchen has just brought out fromage frais and rice pudding for babies, no added sugar. Ds loves them. I get them from waitrose or ocado.
