taking baby off the bottle :S?

my daughter was an early feader and was on food by 8 weeks , shes now 4 n haf month and i was wondering is it stil to early to remover her tae time botle and make the quantity of food larger ,

Angel at this age milk is the most important part of her diet. If you reduce the quantity of milk she receives she may miss out on vital nutrients and calories essential for growth. If you are happy to give solids that is fine but this should supplement and not replace her milk feeds at this age. The carton will tell you how much formula she should have for her weight and once she is 6 months it is 20ozs.

Milk should be her main food until she's 1yo agree with Fliss. Once your DD is one you can ditch the bottles altogether if you want to and give her 300ml of cow's milk a day. There is some info here.

If you think she is hungry, just make sure she gets enough milk as there are more calories in the formula than in virtually any food you can give her Smile.
