Beaba Babycook - to buy or not?

Hi - My mother-in-law has offered to buy me the Beaba Babycook for when I start to wean ds? He is 4 1/2 months at the moment, so have got a while yet.

Would you all recommend this as a good buy? How long did you use it for? Or is it another 'essential' that gets put to the back of the cupboard after a few weeks?

Would love some feedback so I can get my order in quick if necessary.

naturemum, I still use mine and ds3 is a year old! I wish i'd got it at your stage, its so easy to use and hardly anything to wash up. Some of my Annabel Karmel recipes call for cooked veg and its a lot healthier than boiling, also even now ds can't manage minced beef unless its pureed.
