Afternoon!

This is what my son has in a day

7-8 am - breakfast, porridge or fruity yoghurt followed by milk

10/10.30 am snack- feeds himself a rusk (slimed and sucks it into submission as no teeth yet!!!) and has a play about with fruit pieces. I also spoons feed him some fruit purée or rice pudding or something

11/12 - bottle, 6 ounces

2/3pm some kind of Vege purée followed by small milk feed

6pm small snack similar to morning snack

7/7.30 bed time bottle

Does this seem ok? Any suggestions?

Ta, Roz x

Not sure if that's enough milk. Has his milk reduced since you started weaning?

Hi! Sorry, forgot to add 11 o clock dream feed where he has a good 6/7 ounces...does this make it better? He has reduced his milk intake a bit in the day yes. X

i'm no expert! i'm sure someone who is will join us soon. I believe it's important to keep the milk intake up as calories still come from that not the solids. Smile
I'm also useless at knowing how much milk is enough for this age as my girl is bf so i just plug her in and she lets me know when she's full!

He's still getting about 23 ounces a day, I think this is ok x
