Ready Made Baby Food Or Make Your Own?

Over the past few years there has been controversy over ready made baby food jars containing things they shouldn't etc but has this put anyone off? I have to admit I was working full time when my boys were tiny so it was a form of massive convenience for me. I made the effort of choosing organic. Nonetheless it has left me feeling a little guilty that I should have made my own!

If you boys have grown, I'd stop worrying about it. You did what worked for you at the time based on the information available then and that's all any of us can do.

If you have the time and energy to make your own then good but if not then they are the next best thing. Am SAHM so cook myself but keep some in nappy bag for emergency meal. You shouldn't feel bad, they are there to be used and I am sure you see no side effects in your children now?

It's an individual decision. We just don't eat ready meals in out house full stop so seems strange to then feed the baby them. My rule at the mo is I don't give him anything that I wouldn't eat. DS is 7.5 months though so still early days & not back in work yet so I could be talking absolutely boll**cks!
