Weaning and Poo

I have just started weaning my 21 week DD as she has been showing all signs of needing more than milk. We've been going for 10 days, and have only tried 4 new flavours so far, so going really slowly. However, for the last 2 she has had at least 4 runny, light coloured pooey nappies. Today she has had about 4 (and leaked out of 3) and was also really grumpy.

Do we think this is normal within weaning, could it be teething or a tummy bug? Any suggestions gratefully received.

Perhaps her little tummy just isn't ready yet? 20 weeks is a little early according to the guidelines. I've just started my daughter too so I'm afraid I don't have much experience to pass on. Which flavours has she had so far?

Sounds like a tummy bug to me. I suspect it's not to do with weaning.

*disclaimer: I am not medical. Just seen lots of yellow runny poo lately!
