My dd3 is 7 1/2 months old and is doing really well with her weaning. We've gone down the traditional weaning route more or less but we include lots of finger foods too, so she can eat finger sandwiches, banana, raisins etc. as well as being spoonfed family meals.
My problem is that she now pretty much refuses to drink milk at all. The HV said a couple of months ago that it's not unusual for babies to go off milk a bit when they wean as they discover there's more to life than milk, but I'm worried she's not getting any calories from milk. She obviously has other calcium-containing foods - yoghurt, cheese, green veg etc. and I make up her breakfast cereal with milk but do you think it's enough?
I should have said she has been formula fed and isn't interested in drinking water either. Am I panicking over nothing??
TIA
