Milk during the day

My 11mo has started nursery and is still bf. He eats lunch, tea and snacks well and lobes drinking water. However, he doesn't want milk at nursery during the day(formula milk). If he has 2 milk feeds before nursery, and two after nursery(at bedtime), does it matter? He's doing 8-4 at nursery and will drink lots of water.

Sonds like a good plan. Neither of mine would take formula or cows milk when I started back to work and adopted the policy of "I'll just wait".

ds1 (now 8 gulp) did that and i sent him in with yoghurts instead of milk (nursery provided food) for "milk" time.

If he won't drink it, he won't drink it - which do you think is worse force feeding or him not drinking it?

It's completely reasonable and fine for an 11mo old to go the day without milk if he's getting plenty of other food.
