Can you'll please reccommend a high chair for my 8mo dd. I have read other threads on mumsnet and all recommend the Ikea Antilop. However my dh is not a fan of ikea hence need other reccos. Toying between Graco and Cossatoo Noddle. Any reviews out there from fellow mummies ?

I have the Graco Contempo and I really like it. It folds down smaller than any other full highchair on the market and is well padded with a double tray. My 6 month old feels very safe and secure in it. It isn't as easy to clean as some of the others on the market, but we are very messily baby led weaning at the moment and I just wipe it down after each meal. So far it hasn't been a problem at all and has cleaned up very nicely. If you do decide to go for this shop around as the price of it varies massively from place to place. I paid under £70 including delivery from an online baby store, but saw it elsewhere for up to £130!

If you have the money, just buy a Stokke tripp trapp or the other versions of it around nowadays and get it over with Grin Was our the last of 3 high chairs purchased for DS1, started off with the Antilop. He is now 2.7 and still very happy in it, does crafts with it at the table, etc, not just good for mealtimes. The advantage of it is that they can sit right at the table, so even as they get older, when you get rid of the tray (if you bought one to begin with, v handy).

Have now also bought on for DS2 (7 mo), just r-used the babyset from the first one. Seriously, it is the best high chair ever. Super easy to keep clean too.

Happy weaning!

I've got a babydan and an antilop. Babydan for home and antilop for travelling.

Hi - I have just bought a second hand Trip Trapp high chair from e.bay and read on Mumsnet that people had bought click on trays made by another company (and therefore half the price!). Does anyone know who the manufacturer of these trays are??? Thanks.
