Hi there,

Would you mind sharing your daily menus for your 9mo please?

I am wondering what quantities of food I should be feeding my LO and I am also looking for new meal ideas.

Thank you,

DW

Stangirl don't feel inadequate, jars are not the work of the devil :) I like cooking, and normally cook from scratch for DP and I, so it just makes sense to give DD what we have, where possible. If I'm cooking something that I think will be too salty, like a chinese stiry fry with soy sauce etc in, I give her the rice or noodles or whatever, with one of those Ella's pouches.

stangirl please don't feel inadequate from the discussions on here - BLW isn't for everyone. We've chosen BLW because it's convenient for us, our lifestyle (I'm not back at work yet), and dd's personality and I'm really lazy and can't be arsed to purée things Like donkey I enjoy cooking and experimenting with recipes / food / healthy eating, something I've always loved doing so made sense for dd to eat whatever we're having

Your DS, your rules Smile

Actually, we didn't do BLW. I like the idea, but in our house it seemed to mean "squidge food between fingers, throw on floor, don't eat very much." I just couldn't tell how much she was actually eating, if anything. We pureed / spoon fed, but she took to solid food so well that we soon just gave it a couple of mashes with a fork and she was fine with it. Now I don't even do that. I found pureeing & spoon feeding much less annoying that going round the lounge collecting up squidged broccoli :)

stangirl I too give mostly factory food. DS doesn't seem to like my cooking and I'm not spending hours on something only to have to crack open a packet anyway. And I like stock and spice and flavour in my food so it rarely works to make food we can all eat!
