Hello everyone i need your help!

My LO is 7 months old and was feeding fine and then all of a sudden she remembered she could blow rasberries. Now whenever i put food into her mouth she blows rasberries and spits all the food out. Ive tried to keep a straight face and tell her 'no, thats naughty' but i have no idea how to stop her from doing it.

I dont think that she is eating any of it and i dont want her relying on a bottle.

Can anyone help me with any suggestions on what to do please? i have no idea!!

Thanks everyone for reading xx

Playing with food is a good thing. Don't tell her off for something so minor! Have you seen the documentary fast food baby on bbc3? It's on iplayer regularly (and also on youtube it seems). It's eye opening, and they taught one of the fussy toddlers to eat veg by playing games with the food. Things like brush your teeth with broccoli, licking etc.

Relax, relying on the bottle is no problem at 7 months, she's learning about food and textures and mouth control. Blowing raspberries is part of that, I don't think there is a need to stop it, she'll soon return to eating the food.

Thanks for the advice! She threw a major strop this afternoon because there are more lumps in her food lol. I think she would stay on milk forever if it was up to her!
