Weaning started well but illness has thrown us off track

DS3 is 7 months old. He started on solids at 26 weeks; he was a bit slow off the mark because it took him a few days to work out that he had to open his mouth, but once he got the gist of it he was fine.

He's now got a nasty chesty cough and has started refusing food. (He's coughed himself sick a couple of times.) The only thing he'll eat is yoghurt, which has always been his favourite. He won't eat things he ate with relish before.

Should I just go with the flow while he's ill? Or should I stop offering yoghurt so that he eats something else eventually?

TIA.

I would go with the flow. My dd2 8 months will only eat yoghurt when feeling poorly and drink more milk to compensate. It is just like us they don't feel hungry when they are poorly....
