When can babies drink water straight from the tap?

My dd is nearly 11 months, I thought she still needed cooled boiled water but someone had said ordinary tap water is fine after 6 months.
Is this correct?

Def from 6 months on....racking brain to remember if any earlier!

6 months but I'd put it in a bottle or cup, not straight from the tap

6 months, i had a parent at the nursery complain once that we gave her 18mth old water from the tap, it hadn't occured to us to ask the parent if she could have tap water as sher joined us at 15mths.

Really? I didn't know this! I'm still boiling and cooling water for my 7 month old.

So im asuming it's ok to mix formula with tap water then after 6 months?

I still boil & cool water for my 11 month old & will continue to do so until he's over 1. I did it for the older 2, so would be too afraid to do anything differently this time!

gparxs No you still need to boil the water and add the formula when the water is at least 70 degrees.

At the nursery where I work we dont give babies under 12 months tap water and I did the same for my son. HTH
