At what age would you give a child grapes (chopped in half?)

Ds3 discovered an enormous bowl full of them at 9 or 10 months I think and stood at the party table for ages eating one by one by one by one.... he probably could have managed a bit earlier, he'd been eating raisins sooner than that.

Oh, okay. My youngest is 9 months and I can't remember. I bought grapes today and my eldest was tucking into them but I didn't give them to my youngest. Funny you mention raisins, I was wondering the same thing about them!!

6months. If they're not whole there's not much difference to them than lots of other foods. Remember baby's can choke on anything, my niece choked on a chip, yet chip shaped things are generally the most recommended finger foods.
