Is this a sign of readiness?

My Dts has started fussing at the bottle, and not taking full feed, even though he's hungry - will suck hard on my fingers and if he's near the breast (mixed fed) will try and latch overt top.
He's coming up to 6 months but I've not been rushing as they were prem.
Was previously such a super feeder, whereas his sister has always been a slow and fussy nightmare!

Is he teething? Any dribble or red cheeks as his makes them stop and start when feeding sometimes....

Doh! Yes that must be it. He's only 15 weeks corrected bless, thought we had a while before that came up.

Peeling, have a read of the weaning advice on the Bliss website, they say prem babies should start weaning between 5-7 months and the 'signs' of readiness are different. I've just started weaning my DS (a 32 weeker) at 22 weeks, he was so ready but I'd thought I had to wait longer to start than with a term baby!
