Soft boiled eggs

I know LO can't have soft eggs till they're 1.... So is 20 days before their bday still a no no or is it ok?

There's no magic thing that happens when they turn 1 !

The risks of food poisoning from even soft cooked eggs is pretty rare in the UK with the vaccination rates. The reason is purely that very young babies would have a harder job fighting it off if they do get it - and the drugs options are less.

I didn't know whether there was something with digestion that happened at 1 like does at 17 weeks.

Turns out she just threw the bits in the floor anyway haha!

Mine had home made carbonara last night and she's only 7 months Blush When I say "had" she played with spaghetti for 30 min eating very little! I weighed up risk/ likelihood of salmonella versus how much she'd actually ingest and went with it (BLW). She munched on the mushrooms though.

That many days before 1st birthday, I'd have no hesitation to offer a runny egg
