Children's vitamin supplements

I've recently bought Abidec liquid vitamin drops for my 9 month old but it tastes foul and he keeps spitting it out. Does anyone know of any other vitamins he could take that taste a bit better? Also, I'd like a vitamin that also contains iron (Abidec doesn't.)

I don't think there are vitamins with iron, AFAIK overdosing on iron can be pretty serious, and it's not worth taking it every day unless there are concerns or your DC is definitely anaemic. I might be wrong though.

I give my DS Wellkid, he isn't very keen on them but I give it to him in a syringe and he's getting used to it, doesn't complain now. I tasted them and they are ok-ish.

I don't know about anything with iron in, but DD (23mo) has Abidec and I've been putting it into her water or milk cup in the morning so she can't tell it's there.

I've just started using Wellkid also. He seems ok with it now, but did spit most out on the first few attempts. It smells ok but I'm yet to taste it!

Mmmm... might try Wellkid next time. I always taste the things I give my babies, even jar food!! :)
