14mo dislikes breakfast!

My DD is usually a very good eater and theres not much she won't eat. But in the past 3 months shes refused any kind of breakfast other than porridge (spoon fed to her), a banana with redbush tea or french toast which is becoming a pain to do in the mornings.

I've tried pancakes, toast (with everything from marmite to peanut butter on it), waffles, omlette, cereal etc and shes just not interested. Its not like she throws a tantrum to get her favourite foods, just seems apathetic towards breakfast in general! She'll play happily until 10/11am when she'll have an oat bar and yogurt.

The rest of the day is fine, it just seems to be 'bread-y' type foods that she ignores. Anyone have experience with anti-breakfast toddlers or recepies I could try?

Just stick with porridge and banana for now if that is what she is happy with. It sounds like you are doing well throughout the day so well done and dont worry!

Thanks, Wants3. We did try just giving her her usual porridge and banana for a week but she seems to be what my DP calls a Heston baby! She doesnt like a single meal, prefers lots of little tastes and wont eat the same thing two days in a row. Looks like I'll have to just keep alternating french toast and porridge!
