I'm using tommee tippee rubber bib that catches all sorts of stuff falling from her face, but her sleeves are disgusting from wiping around the table they always need changing after each meal. I'm just wondering if anybody els has any great ideas out there?

Long sleeved bib - I liked SillyBillyz

Feed her naked :)

HettyKett · 27/02/2012 21:13

Yes, SillyBillyz are wonderful. We had the long fronted version.

DC wore them from 6 months to 2 1/2 (at least) and they held up fantastically.

Cheap long sleeved bibs from Poundland - we have 5 or 6 I think, sometimes they need washing after every meal.

TerrorNova · 28/02/2012 13:13

I use the long sleaved ones from John Lewis. They are lovely and suits my tiny DD. (She's 25th centile).

blackoutthesun · 28/02/2012 13:16

roll them up

cheesenpickle · 28/02/2012 13:24

Intially I stripped him off to his nappy and use Ikeas long sleeve bibs and a hard plastic bib with a pouch to catch food that misses his mouth. How hes slightly cleaner I roll up the sleeves of his top and push the sleeves of the bib up saves them getting too dirty. Its easier to clean his arms that to have to constantly wash the bibs!

Thanks for all the suggestions!! I will go buy the long sleeve ones!

We had Silly Billyz ones but they went mouldy. Blush What did I do wrong?

DS is 2.2 and I still need a bib that covers his sleeves.

cheekyginger · 04/03/2012 20:17

Long sleeve ones from ikea are great. Can just wipe them down between meals than chuck them in the machine when they get beyond wiping down!!! Grin

Meglet · 04/03/2012 20:21

Take their top off first or buy long sleeved bibs.

Most of the dc's tops were only fit for re-cycling after the weaning stage.
