Hi all,

Just wondering what other give their LO's for breakfast.

I'm kind of stuck in the habbit of shredded wheat, mini weetabix, brown toast. Just seems a bit dull.

He gets strawberry's which he's not impressed with but raisins are a thumbs up!

Any other exciting ideas!!

Cheerios Wink

Eggy bread, sliced egg, small sausages?

Hey nothing wrong with cereals and toasts. That's what we do most days! DH does pancakes sometimes in the weekend. Ofc you can even cook a full fried up if you feel like it. There's also variation of x on toasts - beans, fruit, cheese.

Scrambled egg/beans/cheese on toast always went down well with DD.

Porridge (stiffer than usual so it can be picked up - or normal consistency if your DC eats with cutlery), chuck in some raisins or chopped up dates. My DS loves it!

We do cereals, toast with beans/ eggs/ sardines/ cheese, fry up, Fruit and yoghurt, scotch pancakes, crumpets, normal pancakes, continental style (different breads rolls/ slices of different cheeses/ ham / smoked salmon/ fish paste/ tomatoes etc).

In our house it's been toast (with various toppings), cereal, fruit and occasionally pancakes. DD never seemed to get on well with crumpets, which is a shame as I bloody love them.

I don't bother making breakfast 'exciting' for myself, so DD has had to manage with the boring selection that's on offer.

I remember marmite on crumpets, weetabix mixed with yoghurt and fruit, scrambled egg, porridge fingers, peanut butter on toast going down best.

Today was blueberry wheats.

Can i come and live at your house cheesenpickle?!

Thanks for the ideas ladies....i seem to think of toast and beans and eggy bread as lunch options, good to know it doesnt have to be!!

He loves what we call cheese dreams. Basically a cheese sandwich dipped in the egg then fried....mmm the cheese goes all soggy. Be keeping that as a lunch option for now....but thanks for all the comments. He'll be bursting at the seems tomorrow morning!! Grin
