What do I do? It's only been 36hours (but I'm bursting and so feeling pressured/agitated Wink) and she does have a cold BUT she's also screeching continuously which is driving me a little batty.
Not keen on going to formula as we're a bit stretched for money, but is that my choice?
Any ideas?
I keep offering bfing then ebm after each 'meal' where she's picking (at best) at the finger foods I give her i.e she fumbles around for the bits of food then sticks them in and then pushes them right back out, and will take a spoonful or two of cereal before she refuses anything else.
I'm a little harried with the noise and massive breasts paired with the pain of them...

I'm no expert, but maybe she is in pain somehow when she feeds.
Might she have an earache or something, so it hurts when she lies down to feed? Can you try sitting her more upright or something?
Have you looked in her mouth - when my DD1 went on strike then it turned out she had hand foot and mouth disease and had lots of sore patches in her mouth so it hurt her to feed.

I had a look and there's nothing in her mouth.
I did wonder about sore throat, mine is a little achy... maybe an earache too as mine are hurting, but i figured it was her screeching causing most of that...

If she continues on like this through today I'll be taking her to the gp tomorrow.

So I got her to take a fruit/veg pouch...she's not taking/taken anything else... I do hope she's not quit bf cold turkey...my breasts are killing me...
