rice cakes

DS (24wks) just grabbed my rice cake, gummed a piece off, rolled it round his mouth, spat some out and I think swallowed some. It was a lightly salted one so nt ideal. However, since he seems interested, would it be safe to give him a salt free one to eat? Or is he too young for something whic has such small bit?

I think it would be safe. The Baby Organix unsalted rice cakes are marketed as good from 6 months.
