My son who is 8 months old caughs when eating pasta shells, I guess the pasta shells are too big for his mouth.
Has anybody had any problems with them? Do you think he is too young to eat pasta shells?
He has been fed with spoon since he started with solids at 4 months old, he has never had any finger foods yet.
I need some advice please.

Yes he is probably too young for pasta shells. Get penne instead and after cooking cut them in two or three before feeding, that's what I did anyway.

yep, try the twirls, they're the easiest for them to feed themselves.

Not too young at all. They can eat pasta from 6mo. But another vote for penne or fusilli here.

How good is he with other similar food that needs chewing? 7.5mo DD deals with pasta shells no problem, but she's got good at chewing and will chew things up well with her gums sometims with her hand in there to help them but yeah, pick a shape easier to pick up!
