OK, so I have tried for a while to swap my 18 month old to swap from a bottle to a cup for his milk, without success. He would sob pitifully and refuse to drink from anything other than his beloved baby bottle. Despite the fact he drinks his water out of any sort of cup. Anyway, I bought him a new 18 month plus active sporty tommee tippee cup for his water and he seemed to love it and drank far more water than he usually would. So I gave him his milk in it that evening, and after a bit of hestitation he took it! And again this morning! Hooray!
But, tbh, the active sporty cup is a bottle really, isn't it? So is there any advantage in having done this? Is there a particular cup that is supposed to be best for milk? Or is it just getting rid of the baby bottles that is the point of swapping to a 'cup'? I clean his teeth after his milk anyway.
