Morning all
Assuming DS doesn't have a dairy intolerance, which should I use in his food - eg porridge, mashed potato, weetabix.
Otherwise he is BF but I can't express enough for this.
Thank you!

I used full fat cows milk.

At 6 months the standard advice is to use cows milk.

Cows milk for cooking and cereals. BM or formula for feeds. From 12 months cows milk can be used as a drink.

hi jaffa
sorry for the late post...
yep, that's the advice re cooking / cow's milk. my ds didn't like cow's milk though (at first), so i used formula for cereals (where it was more noticeable than, e.g. in a cauli cheese). i've now moved onto half and half formula and cow's milk and he's fine with that - will soon drop to cow's milk entirely.
just posting really to say try cooking with formula if your DS doesn't immediately go for cow's milk.
good luck!
