Can you freeze chicken without cooking it, if it has already been defrosted?

I just defrosted some chicken overnight and have just made it into some chicken burger shapes with beans and onion.

Do I have to cook the chicken burgers now or can I refreeze them again?

TIA

You have to cook them.

Cook them. They have already been frozen once and defrosted

Cook them.

From what I know, you can then refreeze them (as they've been cooked and that will kill any active bacteria) and then defrost and reheat.

But you can't then go on to freeze them again after that.
